if i write server posts, i want them to keep the part that usually gets removed: failed installs, network mistakes, permission issues, services that almost start, and the long stretch between the idea and okay, now it works.
what i want these posts to keep

- the mistake that wasted time
- what actually changed when it started working
- what is still unclear
that is the useful part later.
