i keep collecting app ideas. most of them should stay ideas. that is fine. the useful part is having one place for the better ones, the weird ones, and the ones that keep coming back in slightly different forms.
what usually lands here
- local-first tools
- utility apps for annoying workflows
- small dashboards
- hardware ideas with one clear job
- things that probably do not deserve a startup pitch
some ideas are still too rough for a proper project page. that does not mean they are useless. it just means they belong in a pile first.
one of the better examples
one idea that fits here well is turning messy chat history into something structured again. not to ship a surveillance product, but to recover projects, timelines, abandoned directions, and recurring patterns from private exports without sending them anywhere else.
why keep a graveyard
because patterns matter more than pretending every note deserves a roadmap. if the same kind of idea keeps showing up, that usually means there is something real in it.
